Digital Producer (Project Manager)

Love Advertising is looking to hire a Digital Producer – a detail-oriented, tech-savvy, organized problem-solver who will command small armies to rally around a project. As the hub of the project wheel, you will work with all departments orchestrating digital projects from conception through completion, including scope and budget development, timeline, creative execution, production, digital development and final deliverables.

You should thrive in identifying potential quality issues as well as developing and implementing strategic plans to resolve them, and quickly adapt to technologies and implement them to move the project ahead of schedule.

Job Description

Your main purpose is to ensure all digital and social campaigns and projects are managed and delivered successfully and to the highest standards, whether producing the project yourself or assisting other members of the creative and digital teams on their projects.

To achieve this, all projects must be managed according to best-practice management from briefing through scoping and development to quality control and deployment, in a time and cost-effective manner.

You will work alongside our creative, digital and production teams to deliver the highest standard of creative output by ensuring effective production processes, promoting positive team morale and fostering continual improvement through the enhancement and introduction of new processes, suppliers and technologies to our the agency. 

You will also work closely with our Brand Management team on the day-to-day management of client communications and expectations throughout the project process. You also, from time to time, may be required to contribute to the agency’s and/or our client’s digital education.

Roles & Responsibilities

You will have direct responsibility for the delivery of multiple branded digital communications across channels (web, email, mobile, social etc.) and clients. This includes:

  • Manage process flow of all digital work, including websites, simple landing pages, digital display banners, social media planning and assets, email marketing, etc.
  • Responsible for managing the creative development and end-to-end production process of multiple social media assets include illustrations, animations and video content.
  • Manage the production process throughout the project lifecycle including resource management on your projects from discovery/brief inception and scoping through to creative concepts, design, technical build/integration and testing.
  • Assist in writing detailed project scopes for digital projects and functional specifications for websites and web/mobile applications, project plans and billing estimates, project risks, interdependencies and assumptions for the successful completion of your projects.
  • Source and manage external resources (e.g. freelancers, contract workers) to support internal staff when necessary and pro-actively contribute to and help maintain the agency’s pool of best-in-class digital specialist vendors.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and prioritizing tasks in order to meet business critical deadlines.
  • Conduct internal status meetings to assess and direct the team effectively.
  • Manage the relationship with internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • Maintain the ability to focus on the overall project as well as the detail minutiae throughout. 
  • Ensure quality assurance of all outputs and deliverables


  • 3-5 years project management or digital producer experience in an agency environment or equitable experience in-house
  • Knowledge and understanding of digital development projects including website design/redesign, landing pages and microsites, digital campaign development, and social media execution.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Asana, Airtable, etc.
  • A strong collaborator with initiative, curiosity and consistent follow-through
  • Impeccable organizational skills including file structure, file management, and archiving
  • Ability to work efficiently on multiple projects while still meeting deadlines
  • Understands the difference between waterfall and agile methodologies to deliver projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Project Management certifications a plus
  • Tech-focused background preferred
