Social Media Content Specialist

Love Advertising is looking for a Social Media Content Specialist with an interest in advertising to serve as a part of our award-winning Content Production team. The ideal candidate has solid video editing chops, design skills and knowledge of shooting basics for social content.

You’ll work in a fast-moving environment, executing content for big brands, alongside our creative team, including creative director, art directors, copywriters, web developers, studio artists and production managers.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Execute work based on monthly content calendars created by the social media team.
  • Follow agency asset organization processes and approval workflows for multiple clients.
  • Concept, produce, and edit videos, Reels, photo, and static content for multiple clients and platforms.
  • Attend and assist on photo and video shoots while representing the agency professionally. Capture behind-the-scenes footage, coordinate talent, and ensure deliverables align with the social strategy.
  • Write compelling, on-brand captions, hooks, and social copy tailored to each platform’s audience.
  • Ensure consistent branding and design across all digital assets (e.g., images, messaging, and layouts).
  • Stay updated on emerging social media practices and assist in implementing them within the agency.
  • Help shape the growth of the agency’s social media offerings and support team education.
  • Work cooperatively with other team members as needed.
  • Take creative direction and turn work around quickly to meet deadlines.

Content Production and Social Media Skills

  • Creative eye for social video and photo content production.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and specs.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple initiatives and priorities within specific timeframes.
  • Familiarity with UGC laws for photography and other assets.

Qualifications

  • 2 – 4 years of experience producing social media content for brands or agencies.
  • Demonstrated expertise creating content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Skilled in industry standard social video editing software (CapCut, in-app, etc.) and Adobe (predominantly Premiere, but working knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition, and Media Encoder a plus.)
  • Knowledge of best practices regarding video editorial process.
  • Excellent storytelling ability with a strong understanding of brand voice and audience nuance.
  • Must have strong conceptual ability with an awareness of design principles, typography and have a high taste level.
  • Must have working knowledge of latest technologies and advertising trends.
  • Experience managing client relationships and navigating content approval processes.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills; comfortable managing multiple brands and deadlines.
  • Work samples required. Applicants without work samples will not be considered.
